Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(John 3:3-6)
There are some false teachers and religions that claim only a certain number and only certain individuals are allowed to be born-again. According to the Jehovah's Witnesses for example, the only ones who can be born-again are a very specific group of 144,000 of their organization and no one else. In the very Words of Christ as quoted above from John 3:3-6, Christ does not limit being born-again to a specific number of individuals or members of a specific group. He has made the invitation to become born-again available to all people everywhere.
Christ further tells us:
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
(Revelation 3:20)
Right now, this very second do you feel or hear Christ knocking at the door to your heart? If you do then why not open it up and invite him in and learn for yourself what being born-gain is truly all about. You will not regret it, ever.
