Most if not all of the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon aka LDS), lie about their origins, they lie about their background, and many other things. The theology and teachings are full of lies and falsehood. They openly invite people to examine their teachings and beliefs and if they find errors to come to them and let them know. If and when you find an error and bring it to them then you are attacked and ridiculed and told you don't know what you are talking about. Then you have people like me who expose their lies and false teachings and we are called apostates and are blacklisted. Well, that doesn't mean a thing to me, and doesn't scare me, and I could care less. In fact. I wear that title from them as a badge of honor, especially since I am serving the One and Only True Living God and NOT their fictional one.

THE FIRST VISION

Let's start with Joseph Smith's first vision. If that is proven untrue then everything else is a lie and fabrication as well. Joseph claims that in 1820 to have been in the woods praying when both God and Jesus appeared to him and told him not to join any churches for they were all corrupt and that he would be the one to bring back the true church of Christ.

Now many times Joseph Smith himseself had changed the details of this first vision several times. Not minor things but major ones. Like how many individuals appeared to him and what was said and so on. The Mormon church has tried to hide all this away by publishing what they call the church's official version of this so-called first vision.

Now the first thing to note is that Joseph Smith claims to have seen God. This simply is not true for the Bible tell us that:

And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

The Bible clearly states it so there can be no mistakes "....for there shall no man see me, and live." From God's own words.

But the Mormons have an answer for this as they do with for all of the numerous contradictions people will run across. They will tell you that Joseph Smith possessed their church's priesthood, the Aaronic Priesthood, and this allowed him to see God and live. But this is an outright fabrication on their part. He couldn't have even had this priesthood, even if it was something real. Their own teachings clearly tell us that the Aaronic Priesthood was not restored until 1829, nine years after the time that the first vision was supposed to have taken place.

Furthermore, if God really did tell him not to join any of the churches for they were all corrupt, He didn't listen to what God told him. There is lots of documentation that prove he joined the Methodist Church and even the Freemasons after the time of the first vision.

Lastly, the Bible does give us these stern warnings:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(Galatians 1:8)

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
(2 Corinthians 11:14)

You can see how the first vision is already unraveling and coming apart when compared with the truth.

GOD WAS A MAN?

Lorenzo Snow, the fifth president of the Mormon Church is quoted as saying:

As man is, God once was; as God is, man may become

This quote is what started the Mormons into teaching that God was once a man and became God and that we too may become gods. The Bible exposes this as another false teaching:

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent....
(Numbers 23:19)

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
(John 4:24)

God Himself telling us:

For I am the Lord, I change not....
(Malachi 3:6)

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
(Hebrews 13:8)

This last verse quoted above tells us that Jesus Christ will be as He is forever and never once mentions Him ever evolving or changing as the Mormons claim we will do.

WHERE WAS JESUS BORN?

It is a well-known and documented fact that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. However, in the Book of Mormon, Alma 7:10 we find the following:

And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

This contradicts historical and Biblical accounts and facts. The Mormon Church however defends this by saying that Bethlehem was part of Jerusalem, and many times was referred to as Jerusalem. This was never the case. This is another one of their many lies and deceptions. Bethlehem was about six miles away with several other towns between it and Jerusalem. None of these other towns have ever been called or referred to as Jerusalem. There is no other example of what the Mormon Church claims found in the Bible or any Biblical literature anywhere.

HOW DID MARY CONCEIVE JESUS?

According to the Mormon Church Mary was impregnated by God coming down in His physical form (remember they teach God was once a man) and impregnated Mary, and they say the Holy Ghost had no part in it (even through the Bible teaches otherwise - see Matthew 1:18 and Luke 1:34-35) In the Book of Mormon, Alma 7:10 sheds light on this fraudulent teaching:

And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

JOSEPH SMITH AND PROPHECY

As a prophet Joseph Smith failed miserably. Very few things of what he said would happen ever did. When you bring up his numerous failed prophecies the Mormon Church will bring up that he did correctly prophesy on the outcome of the Civil War. Yeah, near the end of it when it was a foregone conclusion and everyone knew it. So, there was no real prophecy given there. They will also point out that he was only human so there are liable to be a few mistakes. The prophets in the Bible were also human. and their prophecies never failed.

The Bible gives us the one and only test that a prophet, all prophets, must be judged. It is found in Deuteronomy 18:22:

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

If someone gives prophecy and it fails and they are not 100% accurate then they are not of God and should NOT be listened to.

But despite this verse and the facts, they still insist Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, when clearly he was NOT.

COMMUNION

The Mormon Church calls their communion Sacrament. They will have it in just about all of their church services. Only those who are members of their church may have it

In all the Mormon Churches they use store bought bread (leavened bread) and tear the crusts off, and water. Christ when he first instituted the rite of the Lord's Supper (communion) used unleavened bread (made without yeast for what is symbolized in the Passover) and wine (or juice). By using leavened bread and water the Mormon Church is making a mockery of what it stands for and for what it originated from.

I asked several of their members before why they use store bought bread and water and they all told me the same thing: it is just cheaper that way. Yeah, they cheapen what it represents. For a church that literally fleeces billions of dollars from its members they can easily afford unleavened bread and grape juice.

I know of numerous churches that have very little in the way of financing and they never use leavened bread and water; they always find a way to use unleavened bread and juice. Many of these churches will also make their own unleavened bread. They know that using leavened bread and water cheapens what it stands for and represents.

BAPTISM FOR THE DEAD

Unique to the Mormon Church is the ritual of “Baptism for the Dead’ In which the dead, by proxy, are baptized and confirmed as members of their church so they may obtain salvation and entry into heaven. This is why and how they boast that they are the fastest growing church. This was never practiced by Christ or the early Church. The Bible does speak of it through. It says:

Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
(1 Corinthians 15:29)

The Apostle Paul addressed this unbiblical and demonic practice, the practice of being baptized on behalf of those who died, to point out the logical inconsistency of people performing this rite while denying the physical resurrection of the dead. In other words, it is totally useless and does nothing for the dead.

ADMITTANCE TO HEAVEN

Brigham Young the second president of the Mormon Church. Om several occasions referred to this quote of his:

No man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith.... Every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, junior, as a passport to their entrance into the mansion where God and Christ are....
(Journal of Discourses (vol. 7, p. 289)

The Bible tells us this is a LIE and tell us the only REAL way to gain admittance to heaven:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
(Acts 4:12)

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
(1 Timothy 2:5)

And finally, in the very Words of Jesus Himself we are told:

....I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 14:6)

The Bible tell us that the ONE and ONLY way to God and eternal salvation is through Jesus Christ and not through anyone else ever, no exceptions.

A MARKETING PLOY

Up until several years ago, The Book of Mormon simply had on its cover "The Book of Mormon". In an attempt to reach more people, the Mormon Church added a few additional words to the cover of many copies of the Book of Mormon, so it read "The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ."

This was done to confuse those who were unaware of what it really was, and they specially chose not to use the word “gospel” because of the Bible warning about another gospel. In many cases the words "testament" and "gospel" can be used interchangeably. So, despite how they word it, the Biblical warning still applies.

The clear Biblical warning God has given us:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(Galatians 1:8)

One after another their false teachings and lies give way when compared to the truth. Now this is only a few of their false beliefs and teachings. And these few show you how the organization is established on nothing but lies and false teachings, and is definitely NOT of God.
