From a sermon given on 29 October 2023:

When darkness overtakes him, light will come bursting in...
(Psalm 112:4, TLB)

Darkness has always been a symbol of tough times. It's true that all true Christians, regardless of their position in the body of Christ, occasionally face or bumps into a dark season. Sometimes the season is short lived but sometimes the season is long and terrifying.

As it is with every season, tough times are not permanent. Suddenly, things will turn around; light will come bursting in. We will experience a sudden breakthrough, a flood of God's favor, healing, restoration and even promotion. Our heavenly father will show up and do amazing things!

We may be going through a baptism of fire. We may be thinking that now we have reached our limits. But notice God has used the word "bursting" not trickling. Today, start expecting God's light to break forth and usher in a total turn around. A season of great breakthrough is coming!

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward...And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day
