REJECTION IS REDIRECTION

From a sermon given on 14 January 2024:

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
(Genesis 50:20)

Simply put, divine redirection is when God reroutes you from a path you were on onto the path he had for you to begin with. Sometimes redirection could look like God protecting you from what could have been a catastrophic mistake and getting you on a safe path. Redirection oftentimes will not look like God is redirecting you. "In fact, often it will look like pain, at the moment and you will not understand until you get to the other side of pain and frustration." ( radiantlyresurging.com)

Joseph's brothers hated him so much that they plotted to kill him. Later, they settled for selling him to a caravan of traders bearing goods through Canaan to Egypt. It must been tough for Joseph as he went through the pains of rejection. But God catered for his transport costs to Egypt. Many years down the line, Joseph is able to see how their rejection redirected him to his greatness.

*God has always used rejection to redirect his children. When people, individuals, committees and cocoons seat and declares you a "persona non grata" and refuse to give you the "landing rights," that's not the end of you; it's a redirection. When they reject you, it's a sign that you were not meant for them anyway. Don't get disappointed; God is taking you to higher heights!
