From a sermon given on 04 December 2022:

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
(I Corinthians 10:13)

Sometimes life is tough! Very few people, if any , can talk of a trouble free life. All of us go through seasons of trials and temptations. The only difference is that our tests and trials vary in origin, type, intensity and length.

Jehovah will never let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. We must never say that we can no longer resist a particular temptation. You can be sure that many others have struggled with the same temptation and came out victoriously. *God has given us power to stand against and overcome every temptation . God will either give you power to resist or he will provide a way out. God's grace is sufficient to enable us overcome every temptation that comes our way.

This season , we may be going through health problems, joblessness, loneliness, mistreatment, death of a loved one, financial stress, troubled relationship etc. God will not allow us to be tested beyond what we are able. He will grant us wisdom, patience , endurance and courage to go through it.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
(Romans 8:28)

Further readings:

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
(James 1:12-15)

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
(1 Peter 5:7)

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
(Hebrews 4:15)
