From a sermon given on 14 May 2023:

And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
(Luke 11:27-28)

Jesus was giving a sermon about demonology after driving out a demon that was mute .After uttering wisdom and knowledge ,a woman in the audience got impressed and wishfully thought, "This is a great deal of a son, his mother must be very proud." to a point that she could not hold it any more but spoke it out.

Everyone walks into parentage with a set of expectations made up of ideas and concepts planted in our minds and hearts. It's the joy of every mother to raise children who will soar and tower high among their equals.

Jesus gave the password for the above expectations; that it's by hearing and obeying the Word if God.

As we celebrate "MOTHER'S DAY" may we raise a generation and look forward for the best in them. laying a firm foundation of godliness is paramount, for it is the key to excellence and success.

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
(Psalm 112:1-2)
