From a sermon given on 25 June 2023:

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
(Luke 11:2)

We occasionally sing this song that has this chorus:

"And the time to be happy is now"
"And the place to be happy is here"
"And the way to be happy is to make someone happy"
"And to have a little heaven down here!"

In the Lord's prayer, Jesus taught his disciples to pray that his "Kingdom may come and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is a present reality waiting a fuller future consummation. *This statement expresses the paradox of God's rule which will be made complete with the second coming, but present now in the lives of believers ( Bible commentary, HTML) The kingdom of God is within and among us as God's people.The kingdom of God is both a present reality and a future hope. In the midst of a chaos , Hullabaloos, uncertainties and hopelessness of what may be going on around our "small world", believers can experience a "taste" of heaven. All that we need to do is to pray that " His kingdom comes". His kingdom comes with a package of heavenly interventions, provisions
