From a sermon given on 08 October 2023:

But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
(Numbers 14:24)

This report was given to Moses. The Lord swore that none of the children of Israel who had seen the mighty works of God would see the Promised Land except for Caleb and Joshua. This stemmed from the earlier assignment of spying the land of Canaan. "Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh." (Numbers 13:6).

When the spies came back from the expedition, they gave a negative report to the whole assembly. That made the people to get discouraged and they cried and grumbled against Moses and Aaron. "And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it." (Numbers 13:30).

In our world today, there are many reports from all sides; media, analysts, forecasters etc. that are predicting doom and gloom for the future. Just as the Lord was observant of Caleb's attitude then, He is keen to see those who are of a different spirit and follow Him wholeheartedly. People with a positive attitude remain hopeful and see the best even in very difficult situations.

Further readings:

And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.
(Numbers 14:6-9)

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
(Ephesians 3:20)

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
(James 1:6-8)
