From a sermon given on 17 March 2024:

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.
(Daniel 24:6>

And the king gave orders, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel and threw them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives. And the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they got to the bottom of the den.

Daniel's accusers approached the king and spoke concerning the king's decree they had construed so as to use it against Daniel. The king agreed to their demands and Daniel became a victim and was thrown into lion's den.

Early in the next morning , the king rose to check up on Him only to find him safe and sound. He was exceedingly glad for him, and gave orders to take him out and his accusers were thrown into the same den of lions, with their children, and their wives. And the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they got to the bottom of the den. Results of Daniels faith and clear conscience before God silenced the accusers.

When wrongly accused, we all put on a spirited fight to clear our defamed names and personalities. At times, we end up as victims not knowing what to do. In such cases, nature and divine is allowed to take its course and in due time truth reveals and shame clothes the accusers.

"As fire when thrown into water cools down and put out, so also a false accusations when brought against a man of purest thoughts , intents and character, boils over and is once dissipated and vanishes" - Marcus Tullius Cicero
